F1TV PRO was silently launched in India recently. After fans noticed this change, there was an outrage regarding the subscription price of F1TV PRO as it was quite expensive compared the the previous broadcaster, Hotstar. 1. Discounts offered by F1TV

F1TV generally provides discount at the beginning of the Formula 1 season, between Pre-Season testing and Round 1 or during the Summer break in August. The discount is around 25% off the original price. Note: The usually only on Annual Subscription but worth waiting.

2.1. App Store or Play Store (Monthly)

F1TV allows you to make in-app purchase the subscription from iOS’ App Store or Android’s Play Store, Some times price on these platforms are cheaper than the official website. For Example, The Monthly Subscription of F1TV Pro is ₹299.00 on Play Store, where as on the website its $3.99(Converted to ₹331.26). The difference is just ₹31 but when you look at it over a full year, the difference sums put to ₹372 (₹31 x 12 = ₹372).

At the time of writing this article, They have not yet changed the price on Apple’s App Store, we have no idea what the difference will be.

From the above point we have seen that F1TV Pro Monthly Subscription is cheaper on Play Store Compared the website. Now, If we compare the Annual Subscription. On Play Store it costs you ₹3000, where as on the F1TV website you get it for $29.99 USD(converted to ₹2483.63). That is a difference of over ₹500.

3. Smart Planning

Formula 1 only runs from the month of March to November, also keep in mind the summer break which is in the month of August, so F1 only runs for around 7–8 months and its unnecessary to pay Yearly.
